# C268 evidence packet

Completed 24 September 2026. Continues the existing 490d Unified Chronology research after C267.

Read `490d_C268_LXX_Bracket_and_13K_Chain_20260924.md`, then `490d_Mirror_Checkpoint_After_C268_20260924.md`. C269 is proposed, not executed.

## Reproduce the calculation

From this directory, using Python 3 and its standard library:

The verifier uses fifteen frozen inputs in `sources/`, listed with sizes and SHA-256 values in `SOURCE_MANIFEST.json`. It passes 127 assertions and writes six files:

- `LOCAL_PROVENANCE.json`: the selected LXX closing records and local triple.
- `CORRESPONDENCE.json`: the two anchored fits, with every target source role retained.
- `PHASE_AND_REFLECTION.json`: raw/restored phases and local/global reflection distinctions.
- `LIMITS.json`: generated local preimages needed for a full chain under one scale.
- `RESULTS.json`: exact assertion ledger and bounded conclusion.
- `CORRESPONDENCE.csv`: compact table of the twelve target images.

`REPLAY.json` records byte-identical reproduction of those six outputs. The authored report and checkpoint are not replay outputs. Independent mathematical and source reviews are in `evidence/`.

## Integrity and scope

`SCOPE.json` declares the finite comparison. `CONTROL_INTEGRITY.json` records unchanged original inputs, the 208-node C127 graph and the C265 certificate at publication. The original absolute paths are provenance references, not requirements for reproducing the calculation elsewhere.

`CERTIFICATE.json` links to C267 and binds the report, checkpoint, source manifest, results, replay and control-integrity record. `ARTIFACT_MANIFEST.json` inventories all other payload files, excluding itself to avoid a circular hash.

This packet compares existing C01/C206 source chains with the C267 LXX bracket. It does not rerun an earlier campaign, establish new event identities, modify canonical sources, reopen a primer or execute C269. Regular Gears remain Noah/Shem/Flood only.
