# 490d — Supplemental studies intake after C311 24 September 2026. This is a reference intake, not a new numbered research step. Latest completed research remains C311; C312 is unexecuted. **Decision:** retain the seven-document ZIP as a convenient supplementary source bundle. Its four engine reports were already preserved in the inherited reference archives. The packet supplies useful explanatory passages and clearer provenance citations, but the relevant passages inspected do not establish C310's exact MT-to-SP context selector or require a change of direction. ## What the fifth handoff preserved The compact C265 packet did not contain these seven full reports as separate direct payloads. It did preserve the corrected File_18 rules and the earlier comprehensive Mirror handoff, whose source register cites Report III and a revised Gear Knot register. Thus important content was carried forward even where the complete supplemental report bodies were not active reading material. Byte comparisons now establish that **all four Engine Reports I–IV are exact duplicates** of copies in both: - The September17 complete-study ZIP, inside `earlier_archives/CONTINUATION_ASSETS.zip`, under `discovery_history/`. - The C01–C265 complete-window ZIP, inside `workspace/upload/490d_Review_Chat_Recovery_Backup_20260921(2).zip`, under `originals/`. Reports II and III also have direct source snapshots in the September17 archive. Filename suffix differences do not indicate content differences: the SHA-256 hashes match. This establishes preservation, not that every passage was read or used in C01–C100. No identical copies of the two supplied Gear Knot documents or Sothic report were found at the inspected direct and selected nested archive levels. That is not a claim about every deeper archive. The newly supplied ZIP now gives immediate access to their full text. The two different reports called “Report V” are distinguished below. Engine Reports I–IV are not C01–C04 or the original ten-step Mirror Reports01–10. ## Useful passages for the current work | Document | Passage and value | Intake treatment | | --- | --- | --- | | Engine Report I | §§5–6, lines174–257: the regular650 translation and Noah biography comparisons, with coordinate co-registration distinguished from identity. | Existing structural ancestry; no new selector. | | Engine Report II | §33, lines1842–1908, and §56, lines3066–3104: Noah's500+100 and Shem's100+500 arrangements. | Conceptual predecessor for comparing the two600-year roles; does not choose C310's contexts by annual index. | | Engine Report III | §5, lines290–324: explicitly derives LXX OFF Flood5290–5283 by removing cumulative Cainan460, and Shem5890–5883 by adding600. §7, lines376–438: rigid cumulative Shem-field translations. | Most immediately useful supplementary provenance for C311's inherited derived field. Its presence in a research report does not turn it into a native File_18 table row. | | Engine Report IV | §§26–28, lines911–1011:8395,5290=10×23² and10580→11500→12500. It distinguishes native and generated11500 constructions. | Directly relevant529/Mirror ancestry. Preserve its local rounded/civil-span conventions; do not silently substitute them for the active phase-pair model. | | SP Gear Knot Report V | §7, line269: qualified comparison permission does not automatically create a transformation between source states. Worked552/598 examples follow. | Useful explicit support for C311's separation of ingredients, comparison permission and selector. | | SP Gear Knot companion register | §5, line168 gives the same guard; §§4–7 clarify companion locality, endpoint roles and a separately qualified BJ selector. | Supporting source for Noah/Shem/Flood counting. Its BJ birth-position selector is not C310's MT/SP selector. | | Sothic Report V | §§4,6,11: the10220 bridge and the declared twelve-node Mirror field about2921 BC, with one5842 translation giving full set closure. The report distinguishes complete closure from partial overlaps and conditional placement from independent dating. | Retain as background mathematical precedent. Its rounded/SKL and broader Gear constructions do not reopen those domains in the current campaign. The theorem was read here, not independently rerun. | ## Qualifications that control reuse Current File_18 and later user corrections retain precedence. Two concrete older assumptions need qualification: 1. Engine Report IV line222 uses regular LXX Lamech182/777. The current source policy uses182/753, with777 only as a separately labelled overlay; earlier regular death-table consequences cannot be imported unchanged. 2. Both supplied Gear Knot documents broadly label their comparison plane Cainan OFF, but their LXX Flood3238/Arphaxad3236 are native-ON values. Current File_18 line1542 explicitly resolves the mixed heading: the relevant Flood table has MT/SP OFF and LXX native ON, with LXX Creation5494. Do not pair OFF Creation5364 with ON Flood3238. The broader upstream Gear discussions, cumulative-Gear wording, rounded comparisons and archived next-step proposals are historical context, not fresh authorization. The present regular Gear scope remains Noah/Shem/Flood only; the SP minus-one companion remains SP Noah/Shem-local. No primer campaign, canonical edit, global axis claim or endpoint expansion was performed. C311's three-document audit remains intact. The relevant supplemental rule passages inspected supply useful ingredients and explicit comparison guards, but no rule was located there assigning MT Noah/Flood OFF/Terah0/full430 to j0/2 and SP Shem-life OFF/Terah+60/minimum215 to j3…7. This is a focused relevance assessment, not a repository-wide absence proof. ## Best next bounded step C312 remains proposed: test one uniform, source-labelled same-Gear relation between the existing MT Noah→Flood and SP Shem-life600-year pairs against the existing MT/LXX cumulative weave and its field boundary. Use Report III §5 as an additional explicit provenance citation and the Gear Knot comparison guard as a constraint. Keep all endpoints and anchors fixed, retain failures, and distinguish a successful numerical transport from a prescribed historical selector. High is sufficient. **C312 has not been executed.** ## Intake integrity The supplied ZIP opens and passes its CRC check. Seven Markdown members were indexed; matching archived copies were read only for byte/hash comparison. No historical campaign was rerun. Two separate readers assessed the relevant engine and Gear Knot passages; the author checked archive membership and the Sothic summary, theorem and limits.
