# C311 — Axis-report source-rule review Reviewed source: the frozen `sources/AXIS_REPORT.md`, inherited from C266. SHA-256: `ed20797a44cc5b4c201012017f66afb5c6a3a3f8951c1d63f21997b0cb2bfdbc`. The author reviewed candidate passages located by whole-document searches and their section context. This review complements the separate File_18 and File_09 reads; it is not a third independent review or historical corroboration. Source sections and line spans below refer to the frozen copy. The full excerpts and search record are in `DATA.json`. **Finding:** No rule was located prescribing C310's exact allocation of MT Noah birth→Flood start to j0/2 and SP Shem birth→Shem death to j3…7, with their different Terah and sojourn settings. The axis report supplies the common comparison algebra, selected endpoint contexts and safeguards. Those ingredients do not themselves select the annual-index-dependent switch. | Source passage | Relevant evidence and consequence | | --- | --- | | §1.3, lines 70–90; AX-01 | The common translation and comparison formulas are explicit: `P_b + W = Q_(W−b)` and `D_W(b,d)=W−b−d`. They allow comparison of the two fixed bridge/anchor constructions. Equality of widths does not prescribe which regular biography supplies a matching endpoint. | | §§7.1–7.2, lines 380–420; AX-02 | The main ordinary calculation explicitly selects MT Normal Gear 2, Cainan OFF. It prints Noah birth 3058 and Flood start 2458, alongside the remaining biography endpoints, and the reflected Q6 comparison. This establishes that selected MT context, not a rule for switching to SP at a later cumulative index. | | §7.3, lines 464–470; AX-03 | SP +650 and native LXX ON +780 are local regular differences. The main calculation does not open new SP companion or Gear states. This describes the scope of that report, not a prohibition on the later user-authorized Noah/Shem/Flood census. | | §9, lines 509–513; AX-04 | The 12696 layer retains the full seven-elapsed-year envelope and uses fixed reflected Q1446/Q1406 anchors. It does not assign a different Conquest-year anchor to each source member. This keeps C311's anchors fixed. | | §9.2, lines 529–542; AX-05 | The cumulative Cainan operator is 460 and the table gives the restored MT ON Shem and Flood envelopes. These are separately labelled source states, not a literal table for the retained derived LXX OFF field. | | §16, lines 894–906; AX-06 | Earlier comparisons explicitly select different MT states and an SP Gear-1 setting with a sojourn-frame change. They must retain those labels. The larger 5+1+1+6 interpretation is preserved without claiming every component has been assigned and independently audited as one continuous chain. This supplies background and an unresolved mapping task, not the particular C310 selector. | | §18.2, lines 945–949; AX-07 | Repeated equations can follow from parent choices and are not additional independent witnesses. Event identities for generated coordinates require a source or explicit template. A set cover therefore cannot supply its own historical selection warrant. | This is a bounded source-audit conclusion. Literal keyword absence does not establish semantic absence; the substantive finding rests on reading the relevant rule and comparison passages. No referenced dependency beyond the stipulated three documents was opened to search for a selector. No new endpoint census, chronology state, phase, bridge, anchor, Gear operation or canonical edit was introduced. The appropriate retained description is an **exact composite comparison cover with an unestablished source-prescribed transition**. This neither refutes the existing numerical matches nor establishes that no selector can be found elsewhere.
