# C272 independent source-role review 24 September 2026. Read C268's report and correspondence ledger, C271's matched-family and register-image ledgers, and the frozen C01 event register. Independently computed the authorized finite images using exact rational arithmetic. No source or graph mutation, wider register search, negative-branch campaign or C273 calculation. ## Fixed comparison and counts For rho=1,…,6, use only the positive-side local triple x=1+rho−1/4, 1+rho, 1+rho+1/4. The inherited chart is Phi(x)=a+s(x−1), with a=−4419 or −4417 and s=1196 or 1300. Thus there are exactly **6×3×2×2=72 output rows**. The only target register is C01's **48 source records at 48 distinct reflected regular centers**, ranging from 1956 to 3710. A target match uses the positive reflected center recorded in `BC_Nisan` together with its full stored tradition, role, Gear and rail metadata; it does not interpret a negative image by its absolute value. Independent scan result: - 72 output rows give 70 distinct signed centers. - 36 output rows are negative and 36 positive; none is zero. - **10 rows match**, all at **rho=6**, yielding **8 distinct target records**. - Rho=1 through 5 give **no target matches** in this fixed register. - The repeated centers are 3056 and 3058, each serving as the outer point at 1196 and the inner point at 1300. This repetition does not supply additional event identities. ## Exact matches and inherited status | Anchor and scale | Inner image | Center image | Outer image | |---|---|---|---| | −4419;1196 | 2458: MT G2 Flood start | 2757: SP G2 companion Noah death | 3056: MT G1 Noah birth | | −4417;1196 | 2460: MT G3 Flood start | 2759: SP G3 companion Noah death | 3058: MT G2 Noah birth | | −4419;1300 | 3056: MT G1 Noah birth | 3381: generated midpoint | 3706: SP G1 primary Noah birth | | −4417;1300 | 3058: MT G2 Noah birth | 3383: generated midpoint | 3708: SP G2 primary Noah birth | This is precisely C268's existing radius-six correspondence. At 1196 both three-point target triples have source-qualified records at every position. At 1300 each pair of outer targets is sourced but its 325 midpoint remains generated. The scan supplies no additional sourced midpoint or new event-chain completion. The generated 3381/3383 midpoints are absent from the held 48-record register. They must not be relabeled as Shem, Noah or another event through a wider search. Their optional center±1/4 display is a generated pair representation, not source membership. ## Input ancestry and target roles are different claims C271 supplies all six positive local centers, with source index j=rho+1. Each has two retained histories: 1. LXX OFF cumulative Flood field member with BC base 5290−j, translated by 5290. 2. Reflected SP regular Noah birth—primary or companion, with its fixed Gear—mapped locally by subtracting 3703, and related to the cumulative member by the inherited 8993 comparison. All six inputs therefore have source-supported cumulative and regular ancestry even when their C272 affine images fail to match a target. A failed target-register match does not invalidate the input's source membership. The matching rho 6 input is specifically cumulative Flood closing base 5283, co-located with the induced image of SP G3 **primary Noah birth 3710**. Under C272's two charts, its phases and center map to different target event roles and Gears. In particular, the SP G2/G3 companion Noah-death midpoints are target identities; they do not change the input's SP G3 primary-Noah identity. Likewise, the sourced target Flood events are MT events, not restatements of the input LXX cumulative Flood role. The inner and outer inputs are actual seasonal components; the outputs are pair centers. At scales 1196/1300 the half-year input gap becomes 598/650 years. Source-pair phase displays must be attached from the target record's own convention. C270/C271's unit-scale physical component transport remains a different operation from these C268/C272 affine charts. ## Scope and graph limits Negative signed outputs remain negative. Reflection of those outputs, taking absolute values, matching original BC counterparts, changing an anchor or scale, or searching unrelated project dates would enlarge the authorized domain and was not done. The result is finite: only rho 6 succeeds **under these two fixed scales, these two fixed anchors and this exact 48-record target register**. The scales were originally calibrated to rho 6 in C268. Consequently the retained matches are expected inherited results; this finite extension test cannot be presented as an independent statistical discovery or a global uniqueness theorem. C01's target endpoint support and the selected graph paths inherited through C269 remain valid. C269 also supplies source connectivity for the closing input. Neither fact turns the C272 rescaling into a stored directed chronological edge. No new graph node, edge, source event, universal affine action or Shem analogue is established by this scan. ## Review conclusion The expanded finite input test retains exactly the existing radius-six match pattern and adds no new target-source matches. The source result is a bounded limit on these calibrated charts, with all other C271 input ancestries intact. The sourced 299 midpoint and generated 325 midpoint remain distinct.
