Independent review of C677–C690
28 September 2026. Reviewer: LXX/source agent, with a separate read-only spot review of C685–C690 by a delegated arithmetic/source reviewer.
Disposition and review method
All numerical results pass. Three source-role or wording corrections should be carried into the synthesis: the C690 table belongs to §10.3; native 14006 is distinct from generated 14146/14846; and the C689 multiplication of the phase-normalization residual by 336 is a derived calendar interpretation, not a source-given unit assignment.
The fourteen step scripts were replayed in an isolated namespace after removing their research import and replacing begin/finish with read-only comparisons against the journal. All 41 named checks passed, and the input, result, finding, reassessment and check fields matched the recorded entries. No research writer was imported, numbered step executed, or journal changed. A further 27 exact-fraction comparisons independently checked literal source fields, phase centers and widths, civil spans, calendar identities and the retained cumulative partition. The replay record is REVIEW_C677_C690_REPLAY.json.
The controlling Supplement A was read directly, rather than relying on its preparation memo. Its working and frozen copies have identical SHA-256 7a3a2b42ad70a08f9b44b087106b4f6517924c13a00817ecfadf1326da11b968. All source locators below refer to project_sources/14-file_70-supplement-a-key-of-23-fine-resolution-720-30-rail-2-.md. File52c was consulted for the inherited Actual/Rounded node distinction. This reviewer previously prepared the Supplement A §§8–11/13 overview; that preparation is disclosed and was not substituted for fresh source comparison. The separate spot reviewer independently confirmed the C685–C690 findings below.
This review validates the supplied arithmetic and declared source roles. It does not change the source's claim ceiling or establish historical independence, new SKL states, remote transport permission, or a new Gear application.
C677–C678: shared centers and complete phase widths
Supplement A §§4.1, 4.4–4.5 (lines 797–815 and 936–1007) supplies the lower normalized bracket, its 80-year translation, and the enclosed Enoch body. The Nisan source lists are:
| Object | Ordered Nisan labels BC | Center | Same-suffix width |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lower normalized bracket | 2891 / 2851 | 2871 | 40 |
| Upper translated bracket | 2971 / 2931 | 2951 | 40 |
| Complete enclosing field | 2971 / 2931 / 2891 / 2851 | 2911 | 120 |
| Enoch field with center | 2946 / 2911 / 2876 | 2911 | 70 |
The enclosing field has consecutive gaps 40|40|40. Inserting the Enoch body and its center gives 2971→2946→2911→2876→2851, with gaps 25|35|35|25. The Key-value decomposition is exact: E(23)=25 and P(34.5)=35. The two widths and their supplied common center determine the margins; this does not claim independently occupied 23-year source margins or one whole-span Key producing 120. The source's corresponding guard appears at lines 435–436.
Phase qualification: the scripts use the Nisan coordinate. Under the source convention coord(Xn)=X and coord(Xt)=X−1/2, each corresponding Tishri coordinate is one half-year larger than its Nisan partner. Thus the Enoch/enclosing Tishri center is 2911.5, displayed as 2912t, while the Nisan center is 2911n. These are two phase positions, not one exact instant.
| Field | Same-suffix span | Outer Tishri→Nisan span | Inner Nisan→Tishri span |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enoch | 70 | 70.5 | 69.5 |
| Enclosing field | 120 | 120.5 | 119.5 |
Bare “center 2911” is therefore correct for the scripts' Nisan projection; broader prose should say “Nisan center 2911, with corresponding Tishri center 2911.5.” This preserves the distinction established by C672–C676. No arithmetic change is required.
C679: scalar closure and coordinate envelope
Section 4.2 (lines 817–880) explicitly distinguishes the two constructions:
| Construction | Exact calculation | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Scalar | 2 × P(724.5) = 2 × 735 | 1470 |
| Coordinate | 2 × (13 + 724.5) = 2 × 737.5 | 1475 |
Starting at 2884n and 2858n gives exact coordinates 3608.5 and 2133.5 after outward movement by 724.5. These are precisely 3609t and 2134t under the source chart. Their midpoint remains the starting Nisan coordinate 2871; the fact that both final endpoints carry Tishri labels does not replace that exact midpoint by the usual 2872t coordinate 2871.5. C679 computes the labels and width correctly.
C680–C684: selective opening, conserved centers and civil continuation
Section 3.2 (lines 761–789) prints the complete opened ladder:
4336, 4306, 3606, 3576, 2886, 2856, 2166, 2136, 1436, 1406 BC.
Its gaps are 30|700|30|690|30|690|30|700|30. Only the two exterior 690 cores acquire the Prophetic gain 10; the six inner nodes and all 30 flanks remain fixed. This gives width 2930, rather than P(2910).
The three outer pairs reconstruct as:
| Nisan-coordinate pair BC | Width | Center |
|---|---|---|
| 4326 / 1416 | 2910 | 2871 |
| 4336 / 1406 | 2930 | 2871 |
| 4341 / 1401 | 2940 | 2871 |
Section 5.1 (lines 1018–1047) supplies the final opposed five-year changes as its local 2+3 construction. Their reconstruction does not grant new upstream Gear permission. The generated final extremities remain comparison extremities. The same-suffix Tishri closure has width 2940 about exact center 2871.5; mixing opposite suffixes would change the measured width.
C682's coordinate identities are correct:
Translation preserves width and changes center; opposed equal displacements preserve center and change width. This describes the two declared operations without merging them.
Sections 5.2–5.4 (lines 1049–1106) supply the full continuation 1446 BC→1416 BC→726 BC→696 BC→6 BC→AD 25. Civil elapsed coordinates recover 30|690|30|690|30 and total 1470. The separate brackets 726 BC→AD 25 and 724 BC→AD 27 both span 750 and are uniform two-year forward translates. The terminal gain E(34.5)−34.5=3 gives AD 27→AD 30. These are source comparison/ministry/possible-Passion roles, not an inference proving the Passion year; the role guard at lines 384–385 remains operative.
C685–C689: calibrated scalars with separate units
The exact common calibration gives
so at s=34.5 all three volumes are 12600. Supplement A §6.1 (lines 1114–1141) directly supplies the P/J routes. C685 correctly labels the Priestly route as an additional algebraic consequence of the already established common calibration, rather than another literal source row.
The twentyfold correspondence is exact: 34.5, 35, 37.5 map to 690, 700, 750. The separate normalized 40 would map to 800. The numerical 810/20=40.5 comparison does not supply an endpoint map.
Sections 6.1–6.3 (lines 1114–1171) distinguish the following realizations:
| Object | Input or span | Completed register |
|---|---|---|
| Micro calendar volume | 34.5 × 364 = 12558 days | J gives 12600 days; P gives 12740 days |
| Actual cumulative endpoint interval | 14004−1446 = 12558 years | Scalar J completion = 12600 years |
| Rounded cumulative endpoint interval | 14006−1406 = 12600 years | Its own declared endpoint realization |
File52c's source-state table (lines 57–58), primary table (lines 334–335), and §3.14 discussion (line 1240) retain the separate Actual completion, Year-6 and Rounded node classes. The equality of numbers across scales does not identify days with years or demonstrate an endpoint map. C687 explicitly preserves this distinction.
For C688, 12600=35×360 and 12740=35×364 have difference 140, ratio 91/90 and common cross-product 4586400. These identities are consequences of the fixed completed count and two calendar lengths. The product is not another independent chronological witness.
C689 wording correction: §4.3 (lines 906–927) supplies the phase-normalization residual 37.5+2.5=40. It does not state that this residual is already measured in “336-day units.” The valid derived calendar interpretation is:
Suggested wording: “Under the derived 336-day calendar interpretation, the source's residual count 2.5 contributes 840 days.” At macro scale, §10.3 independently supplies 13440 and its 840-year gain in the declared cumulative carrier. Add §10.3 (lines 2160–2173) to the source locator for that macro realization. The numerical claim remains unchanged.
The inspected C691 interim synthesis also says “840 more 336-day units.” That should read “2.5 more 336-day calendar units, or 840 days.” Its macro counterpart is 840 years, with the years-of-years carrier meaning kept explicit. This is a carry-forward prose correction, not a review of a new numbered step.
C690: retained 9660 + 2940 construction and node status
The native upper arm is established by §10.1 (lines 2067–2075). The complete retained-partition table is in §10.3, lines 2131–2182, rather than §10.2. Section 10.2 concerns the distinct fixed-Pillar routes.
Hold the hinge 4346 and tail 1406 fixed. The lower segment is 2940; identity/P/E applies only to the native upper segment 9660:
| Upper operation | Upper span | Retained lower span | Total | BC head | Node status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identity | 9660 | 2940 | 12600 = 35×360 | 14006 | Inherited native cumulative head |
| P | 9800 | 2940 | 12740 = 35×364 | 14146 | Generated companion; appendix status |
| E | 10500 | 2940 | 13440 = 40×336 | 14846 | Generated companion; appendix status |
The gains are 0, 140 and 840. Every row satisfies head−4346=upper and head−1406=total. Neither P(12600)=12740 nor E(12600)=13440 holds: the correct operation retains the lower component.
C690 node-class correction: replace “The generated heads 14006/14146/14846 retain their existing status” with “The native head 14006 and generated companions 14146/14846 retain their distinct existing status.” The source inventory separates them at lines 38–39 and 194–230. The generated-head guards and Appendix C maintain the appendix ceiling (lines 489–490 and 3363–3369). Arithmetic verification does not promote these companions to repository Primary anchors.
The 12740 path 14146→1406 must also remain separate from the inherited 14036→1296 path with equal total; §10.3 and the cumulative-coordinate guard at lines 468–469 explicitly require that distinction. Nothing in the reviewed scripts merges those endpoints.
Carry-forward result
Preserve the calculations and the complete source tables. In the explanatory draft, retain the Nisan/Tishri center qualification, separate the phase residual from its derived calendar-unit interpretation, correct the §10.3 locator, and distinguish native 14006 from generated 14146/14846. No journal, numbered script, canonical file, remote extension, primer, or deferred decimal operation was changed by this review.
