# C269 — The LXX closing sources join the retained 17×529 paths

24 September 2026. Bounded continuation of C268 in the existing 490d Unified Chronology research. Capture now, canonize later.

**The exact LXX closing sources behind C267’s bilateral bracket have source-qualified connections to the retained 17×529 structure.** The Flood closing member subdivides both N02/N04 Creation attachments, and C254 already supplies its own complete 8993-year source path. The corresponding Shem closing member has an existing 8993 edge. Together they form an exact comparison rectangle with sides **600 and 8993**.

This establishes more than common field membership. It does not identify the source-path translations with C268’s affine charts: those charts use a different source anchor and map seasonal components to long-chain pair centers.

## 1. The exact closing member lies within both 868 attachments

C266 translates the LXX OFF cumulative Flood field by 5290. Its opening and closing BC bases are 5290 and 5283, giving local centers 0 and 7. C267’s positive seasonal bracket therefore comes from the closing pair **5284t/5283n BC**, whose signed source center is L=−5283.

The two existing C01 chains retain cumulative members c=−5287 and −5285 and fixed SP Creation centers a=−4419 and −4417. C18 established their 868 attachment and its source ancestry. The opening difference is 869; the retained Flood start/close distinction supplies the one-year offset, independently of the SP Noah/Shem companion rule.

The closing member is later than each selected cumulative member and earlier than each selected Creation member:

| Chain | Selected cumulative c | Closing L | Creation a | c→L | L→a | Total attachment |
|---|---:|---:|---:|---:|---:|---:|
| N02 | −5287 | −5283 | −4419 | 4 | 864 | 868 |
| N04 | −5285 | −5283 | −4417 | 2 | 866 | 868 |

Thus **868=4+864=2+866**, with every boundary retaining its source label. These are ordered subdivisions of the already retained attachments. Both seasonal components give the same widths; no half-year correction or civil year zero is introduced.

Appending each existing regular chain gives:

\[
\begin{aligned}
N02:&\quad4+864+6877+299+299+650=8993,\\
N04:&\quad2+866+6877+299+299+650=8993.
\end{aligned}
\]

The endpoint order is selected cumulative member → exact Flood closing member → fixed Creation → reflected MT Flood start → reflected SP companion Noah death → reflected MT Noah birth → reflected SP primary Noah birth.

These are chronological **comparison paths across declared source profiles**, not a merger of those profiles into one historical chronology. The 4/2 prefixes are essential. Starting directly at the closing member gives:

| Closing L to retained target | N02 | N04 |
|---|---:|---:|
| MT Flood start | 7741 | 7743 |
| SP companion Noah death | 8040 | 8042 |
| MT Noah birth | 8339 | 8341 |
| SP primary Noah birth | 8989 | 8991 |

The final widths are 8993−4 and 8993−2. Substituting the closing member for the original selected member without retaining the prefix would change the established 17K comparison.

## 2. Source support and stored graph incidence are different

The frozen C127 graph contains the two cumulative members, their Creation anchors and the retained regular endpoints. Its directed paths use:

| Segment | N02 edge | N04 edge | Width |
|---|---|---|---:|
| Cumulative member → Creation | `N02_868` | `N04_868` | 868 |
| Creation → MT Flood | `N02_13` | `N04_13` | 6877 |
| MT Flood → SP companion death | `N02_299a` | `N04_299a` | 299 |
| Companion death → MT Noah birth | `N02_299b` | `N04_299b` | 299 |
| MT Noah birth → SP Noah birth | `N02_650` | `N04_650` | 650 |

The direct outer edges `N02_17` and `N04_17` also have width 8993. Opening-to-selected-member edges retain the LXX field indices 3 and 5.

There is **no node at −5283** in that frozen graph. Accordingly, the new closing-member subdivisions are source-supported arithmetic refinements, not pre-existing graph edges. C269 records them separately and leaves the graph unchanged. A reverse traversal of a stored duration relation also remains distinct from an explicitly stored forward edge.

Graph absence does not establish absence from the research record. The later C254 certificate explicitly includes the closing Flood member and its sourced route, recovered below. Current later evidence controls that distinction.

## 3. The negative bracket already has a stored source connection

C267’s negative bracket comes from LXX OFF Shem closing pair **5884t/5883n BC**, source center S=−5883. C266 translates it by 5888 and reflects the result, giving local center −5 and components 6t/5n BC.

This exact source is already the C127 node **`N04_cm`**. Its stored edge `N04_598cum` ends at the N04 **interior** Flood member −5285:

\[
-5883\xrightarrow{598}-5285\xrightarrow{2}-5283.
\]

Therefore the same-index Shem-to-Flood closing separation is **600=598+2**. The 598 and 600 do not describe identical endpoint selections. The additional two years are the final source-field interval to the Flood closing member.

The inherited central translations explain their local images:

\[
-5883+5888=-5285+5290=5,
\qquad-5283+5290=7.
\]

Reflecting the translated Shem closing center gives −5. Together with the translated Flood closing center 7, this yields the already established local radius-six pair about x=1. Its actual components are −5±1/4 and 7±1/4. The translation difference **5888−5290=598** has absorbed the stored 598 comparison, leaving the two-year field separation before reflection.

This gives a source-labeled explanation of the bilateral construction. It does not merge source identities at the co-located center 5. Nor does the negative local coordinate −5 become identical to every older graph node with that displayed coordinate.

## 4. C254 already supports the Flood closing member’s own 17K path

C18’s older closing diagnostic requires an MT Flood target at 2462 for an exact 6877 prefix from Creation base 4415. That target is absent from the held MT Flood register. The later C254 result retains a different, fully sourced route:

| Boundary | Source role | Following width |
|---|---|---:|
| 5284t/5283n BC | LXX OFF cumulative Flood closing | 868 |
| 4416t/4415n BC | Fixed SP Creation member | 5819 |
| AD 1404t/1405n | Reflected Conquest member | 1056 |
| AD 2460t/2461n | Reflected MT G3 Flood start | 1250 |
| AD 3710t/3711n | Reflected SP G3 primary Noah birth | — |

\[
\boxed{868+5819+1056+1250=8993=17K.}
\]

This is **C254 selector 7**, already completed before the current axis redirect. Its Creation-to-MT-Flood prefix is **6875=11×625**, two years shorter than 6877. The source MT endpoint is 2460. The failed exact-13K candidate remains 2462; no G4 or missing event is supplied.

C269 retrieves this one relevant completed row and checks its endpoints and phase spans. It does not rerun the six-selector campaign or claim the route as a new discovery. It also does not search the generated intermediate endpoint 1910 for a historical identity.

## 5. Both closing sources belong to one 600-by-8993 comparison rectangle

The existing graph edge **`N04_17opposite`** connects the Shem closing source S=−5883 to reflected SP G3 Flood start H=3110, with width 8993. C254 connects the Flood closing source L=−5283 to reflected SP G3 primary Noah birth N=3710, also with width 8993.

Consequently:

\[
H-S=N-L=8993,\qquad L-S=N-H=600.
\]

```mermaid
flowchart LR
    S["LXX Shem closing −5883"] -->|600| L["LXX Flood closing −5283"]
    S -->|8993| H["SP G3 Flood +3110"]
    L -->|8993| N["SP G3 Noah +3710"]
    H -->|600| N
```

The positive regular coordinates are reflected source pairs. Their arrow order is the reflected order, not a claim that Noah’s historical birth followed the Flood. The diagram is an exact comparison of four source-tagged centers; it is not a physical two-dimensional chronology or a new metric.

Both 600 sides contain the same **598+2** subdivision:

| Side | Start | Intermediate | End | Gaps |
|---|---:|---:|---:|---|
| Cumulative LXX OFF | −5883 | −5285, N04 member | −5283, closing | 598+2 |
| Reflected regular SP | 3110, G3 Flood start | 3708, G2 primary Noah birth | 3710, G3 primary Noah birth | 598+2 |

One translation, **T₈₉₉₃(q)=q+8993**, sends all three cumulative centers to the three regular centers and preserves their actual half-year phase separation. The middle 17K correspondence is the existing N04 edge; the two outer ones are the stored Shem edge and C254 closing route.

This is the principal integration of C269: **the exact two source ancestors of the new bilateral LXX bracket participate in a common, fully source-qualified 17K correspondence.** Its two 600 sides and 598+2 subdivisions are dependent expressions of those retained relations, not additional independent witnesses. It does not establish a regular Shem 299 midpoint chain.

## 6. These paths do not implement C268’s affine charts

The source links are now explicit, but their operations remain different.

**The inherited C09 translation.** Translation by 7745 takes N02/N04 cumulative centers −5287/−5285 to their retained MT Flood centers 2458/2460. In the local C266 Flood chart x=q+5290, it is the map x→x+2455. Applied to the closing member, it produces 2462, the already documented unsupported MT Flood candidate. The closing boundary cannot be substituted for the selected members under this map without changing the result.

**The C268 charts.** Composing Φₛ,ₐ(x)=a+s(x−1) with x=q+5290 gives

\[
\Psi_{s,a}(q)=a+s(q+5289),\qquad s\in\{1196,1300\}.
\]

Their source anchor is **q=−5289**, the local junction’s LXX preimage. It is neither the selected N02/N04 attachment member nor the closing member. The actual 868 attachment takes the selected member c to a. The C268 chart instead gives:

| Chain | Ψ₁₁₉₆,ₐ(c)−a | Ψ₁₃₀₀,ₐ(c)−a |
|---|---:|---:|
| N02 | 2392 | 2600 |
| N04 | 4784 | 5200 |

Thus the charts do not agree with the 868 source attachment at its defining source point.

At the closing center, C268 still gives its verified midpoint images: the sourced 2757/2759 at scale 1196 and generated 3381/3383 at scale 1300. But it turns the source half-year component separation into 598 or 650 years, whose endpoints are interpreted as target **pair centers**. By contrast, the source-path translations preserve the half-year separation. A translation to the same midpoint center therefore is not the same operation as C268’s map of the closing seasonal components.

The new source rectangle strengthens provenance and connects the sources. The distinction between a connected source path and the particular affine rescaling survives this positive result.

## 7. Evidence and retained controls

The packet freezes sixteen immediate dependencies, including the current C268 checkpoint, the C266 endpoint ledger, C01/C09/C18 source records, the selected C254 certificate/report/results, the C127 graph and the controlling File_18/File_09 copies.

**145 exact assertions pass. Six generated outputs reproduce byte for byte in a separate output directory.** They preserve the ordered source refinements, actual graph incidence, inherited closing route, closing rectangle, operator comparison, results and compact CSV representation. Two independent reviewers checked arithmetic and source/graph status; the final draft and verifier also passed independent review. Assertion counts describe verification coverage, not independent source witnesses.

The certificate links to C268; integrity records bind the frozen inputs, report, checkpoint, results and replay. The authored report and checkpoint are not computational replay outputs. The C127 graph remains at 208 nodes and 382 duration edges. No canonical file, graph or historical certificate has been modified. No earlier campaign was rerun.

Keep K=529, E=25/23, P=70/69 and ρ=radius. Regular Gears remain Noah/Shem/Flood only; no upstream or cumulative Gear, primer reopening, z-law or new global axis is introduced. C267’s 2500 midpoint and 7500 envelope roles remain distinct from pair-center and seasonal-radius roles. Original unprefixed Reports 01–10 remain distinct from this C-series; interrupted original Reports 11–25 remain unestablished. The superseded AD 1905–1911 search remains unexecuted.

## 8. Best next bounded step

**C270 — transport the closing 17K rectangle through the inherited C266 translations and reflection.** Test whether its regular SP G3 endpoints supply an exact counterpart to the bilateral LXX 5750/6250 bracket in both seasonal components, with every induced translation derived from the existing 8993 correspondence. This would connect the local axis display directly to the sourced regular rectangle without fitting a new scale. **High is sufficient. C270 has not been executed.**
