# 490d C427 — The MT 2240 coincidence behind the template overlap

24 September 2026. Step 4 of10, C424–C433.

The576 MT Noah-death/Flood-close comparisons have exactly **two coordinate coincidences:2240 and2300**. Both obey the same source equation:

**349 =130 +215 +4.**

The Noah-death context has CainanON, full430 and Gear3; the Flood-close context has CainanOFF, short sojourn and Gear1. Their Terah flags agree. Thus the one-year-shorter Flood-close/Noah-death role difference349 is supplied by130+215+4 of context displacement.

| Coincident coordinate | Noah-death context | Flood-close context | Required upper2K coordinate | Sourced? |
|---:|---|---|---:|---|
|2240|MT G3/C1/T0/F1|MT G1/C0/T0/F0|3298|Yes, SP/LXX Flood start|
|2300|MT G3/C1/T1/F1|MT G1/C0/T1/F0|3358|No|

Only2240 participates in the complete2K census, explaining its sole template overlap. The other required coordinate3358 is recorded as a failed diagnostic, not inserted as a source.

The identities remain different. In the2240 Noah-death context, Noah is3190→2240 and the Flood is2590→2589. In the2240 Flood-close context, Noah is2841→1891 and the Flood is2241→2240. Both contexts separately retain Noah950 and a one-year Flood interval. The2300 coincidence has the corresponding+60 versions.

Numerical equality therefore permits a comparison at the same coordinate, but does not identify Noah's death with the Flood close in one chronology. Keeping this distinction also prevents the708 and1057 template equations from being merged into a supposed single source history.

## Verification and scope

585 calculation checks and 13 source/predecessor authentication checks passed. A separate main replay is byte-identical. Root-agent analysis and replay; no new independent-agent review is claimed. Verification counts are not independent historical witnesses.

The coincidence is between different MT contexts. Neither absent3358 nor a merged event/person identity is admitted.

Mirror/529 focus: K=529, E=25/23, P=70/69; J=300/299 remains File02 gap conversion, not a calendar date operator or Residue Protocol. Regular Gears are Noah/Shem/Flood only. SP person companions are local to Noah/Shem; Flood close is an independent event boundary. Both500/100 and502/98 bindings remain valid; SP primary Noah death retains its inclusive/harmonic qualification. LXX native Cainan is ON; OFF is theoretical removal. Global paired Mirror January AD1; local junction January AD2; no civil year zero. No new source point, phase, fitted axis, upstream/cumulative Gear, primer reopening or canonical/graph edit. Capture now; canonize later. Coordinates, source labels, context aliases and derived comparisons remain distinct. Counts are not independent historical witnesses.

## Decision after this result

**C428, proposed and unexecuted:** Test all26 existing regular2K coordinate pairs against every sourced cumulative Shem/Flood2K pair under the fixed17K join equations. Compare all hits with the already retained C287 domain, including SP companion cases, and keep later operator qualifications separate.

The complete regular inventory and its sole overlap are now source-qualified. A full fixed17K join census can determine whether any newly classified template adds a Mirror branch.
