# 490d C370 — Paired P and J source-endpoint repair

24 September 2026. Step 7 of 10 in the C364–C373 authorization.

**The two inherited gap ratios reach the same actual source endpoint when their Flood pivots are 460 years apart.** Write J=300/299 and retain P=70/69. These are anchored gap comparisons; J is not the calendar Residue Protocol.

| Field, representative primary row i=3 | Input | J pivot | P pivot | Common output |
|---|---:|---:|---:|---:|
| Cumulative OFF Shem, signed coordinate |−5885|−5287 OFF Flood|−5747 native Flood|−5887 OFF Shem|
| Reflected restored-MT Noah, AD coordinate |3246|2648 restored-MT Flood|3108 SP Flood|3248 restored-MT Noah|

In each row, the input is 598 from the J pivot and 138 from the P pivot. J converts 598→600; P converts 138→140. Both move the source input by exactly two years to the same existing source record. The orientation is negative in the cumulative field and positive in the reflected regular field.

All six cumulative rows i=0…5 pass. Four, i=2…5, lie in the complete C287 domain and reproduce the exact C351 repaired OFF-Shem records. Both regular primary rows i=3 and i=5 pass and reach next-Gear restored-MT Noah birth. Thus these are the previously retained 458+600=1058 repairs, with the original 2K and 17K outer endpoints fixed; they do not introduce a new endpoint.

The two regular companion rows fail with the matched Flood-close pivots. Their inputs are 599 and 139. The J image exceeds the existing next-Gear Noah record by 1/299; the P image exceeds it by 1/69. The images differ by 10/897 and are not rounded into source matches.

The two pivot separations have different ancestry. Cumulative 460 is the Cainan state difference; regular 460 is the retained SP/restored-MT context difference, 650−130−60. File46 supplies the inherited P ratio. Applying it jointly with J at these paired pivots is the comparison tested here, not a source instruction prescribing that pairing. The result gives the bridge remainders 138/140 an actual nearby endpoint realization, beyond C369’s arithmetic decomposition.

## Verification and limits

31 main checks and 19 frozen-input/predecessor authentication checks passed. A second main replay produced byte-identical DATA/RESULTS. These checks and the source interpretation were performed by the root agent; no new independent-agent review is claimed. All frozen originals and standing controls remain unchanged. Verification counts are not independent-witness counts.

Paired P/J use is a tested comparison, not a reviewed textual prescription. Pivot ancestry differs across fields. Repeated rows are dependent; fractional companion images are not new sources.

Mirror/529 focus: K=529, E=25/23, P=70/69. Global paired Mirror January AD1; local junction January AD2; no civil year zero. Regular Gears are Noah/Shem/Flood only. SP minus-one person companions remain local to SP Noah/Shem; Flood close is a separate boundary. No upstream/cumulative Gear, new endpoint or phase, fitted anchor, global axis, primer reopening, canonical or graph edit. Capture now; canonize later. Source identity, context, modal binding, generated coordinates and phase ancestry stay distinct.

## Decision after this result

**C371, proposed and unexecuted:** Derive the unique agreement condition for these two anchored maps and test it against all twenty C319 controls, the companion start/close boundary alternative, and the inherited quarter-phase components.

The positive source match needs a uniqueness and boundary test before interpreting it as a selector. The finite controls can distinguish an exact conditional identity from a broader source-prescribed rule.
