C17 — The source derivation of the 5290 opening
22 September 2026 · Bounded continuation of C16.
The LXX cumulative OFF opening reconstructs independently of the desired multiple:
The first expression uses the fixed Conquest/Moses terminal coordinate, the cumulative lifespan subtotal with second Cainan removed, and the source opening offset. The second uses the retained local 600/2/460 calibration. Their agreement is a verified compatibility between the two constructions. The local regular core alone does not locate the cumulative opening on the calendar.
This identifies the source content behind C16’s opening parameter. It does not add a new chronological axiom or an independent historical witness: the cumulative inputs were already in the controlling tables. Once the existing C12 packet is bound to its actual cumulative field member, the equality is an algebraic consequence of that fuller packet.
Reconstruct the lifespan subtotal before testing the multiple. File_18 §6 states the end-to-end lifespan method. Its LXX §4.2 supplies Arphaxad through Terah; §§4.3–4.4 retain the common downstream chronology, with the complete Abraham–Moses cumulative trunk supplied in §6A. The LXX §6D anchor is 1406 BC. All coordinates below are the named Moses/Nisan cumulative members.
| Lifespan portion | Years | Reconstructed native-ON starting boundary, BC |
|---|---|---|
| Arphaxad | 465 | 5745 |
| Second Cainan | 460 | 5280 |
| Shelah | 460 | 4820 |
| Eber | 504 | 4360 |
| Peleg | 339 | 3856 |
| Reu | 339 | 3517 |
| Serug | 330 | 3178 |
| Nahor | 208 | 2848 |
| Terah | 205 | 2640 |
| Abraham | 175 | 2435 |
| Isaac | 180 | 2260 |
| Jacob | 147 | 2080 |
| Levi | 137 | 1933 |
| Kohath | 133 | 1796 |
| Amram | 137 | 1663 |
| Moses | 120 | 1526 |
| Terminal anchor | — | 1406 |
Each starting boundary equals 1406 plus that row’s lifespan and every subsequent lifespan. The sixteen portions total 4339. Their independently reconstructed 5745 Flood/comparison label, 5280 Cainan boundary, and 3856 Peleg boundary agree with the compressed LXX cumulative table.
The corrected Peleg/Reu/Serug figures are 339/339/330, as required by the September correction. Moses remains 120. Aaron’s separate trunk and Joseph’s collateral portion are not additional rows in this sum.
Removing the named second-Cainan portion gives
Shelah’s own 460 remains in the stack. Removing Cainan takes the Arphaxad starting seam from 5745 to 5285; Shelah and every downstream seam remain unchanged. LXX ON is native; OFF is the explicitly derived comparison.
The opening offset is a source boundary choice within a fixed seven-year object. File_18 gives the native-ON named member 5745 inside the envelope 5750–5743. Its integer boundary offsets from the named member are
The opening therefore gives
File_09 §3A.1 retains the whole-year 2|3|2 anatomy: the older edge lies five years before the Moses-side member and the younger edge two years after it. This explains the +5 used here. It is not a free adjustment to obtain 5290. The exact Aaron/Tishri trunk at +3.5 and the automatic paired-date partner (N+1)t/Nn remain different constructions.
The actual named OFF member is 5285; it must not be relabeled as the opening. The complete derived field is 5290–5283. No regular Gear is transported into the cumulative table.
The Flood-associated node classes remain separate. The 5745 row is the Flood/Shem-death/Arphaxad comparison field used in the Mirror handoff. In the end-to-end stack, the Methuselah-end/Lamech-start seam is instead
This reproduces File_18’s Lamech row, whose note names the death of Methuselah as the chief Flood marker. The two source associations do not identify the cumulative seams 5745 and 8048. C17 reconstructs the former for the opening calculation. Lamech’s 753 belongs upstream of it and does not enter the Arphaxad–Moses subtotal.
A second cumulative route checks the six-year separation from MT ON. The same retained suffix in MT totals 3425, producing its named Flood/comparison member 4831 and opening 4836. The LXX OFF excess is
These are respectively the Arphaxad, Shelah, Eber, Peleg, Reu, Serug, and Nahor lifespan differences. The remaining suffix portions agree. Consequently
Their six-year difference is 460−454, at these cumulative seams. This local comparison does not propagate 454 to Creation or introduce a regular Gear shift.
Separate the two calculations that meet at 5290. Write
Then
The opening calibration is the source equation
| Information retained | What it fixes |
|---|---|
| Local 600/2 comparison and cumulative Cainan 460 | E=1058 and K=529 |
| Cumulative non-Cainan subtotal, terminal anchor, and opening offset | O=5290 |
| Both source constructions | O=5E; the opening radius is 10K and its paired self-Mirror is 20K |
| C16’s additional interval bindings and retained 8993 comparison | The already established 3+7 and 5+5 constructions |
Thus an exact 600/2/460 system does not, by itself, impose an absolute cumulative date. Conversely, the source derivation of O does not by itself supply C16’s Noah comparison or its two endpoint bindings.
The opening expansion and five-E equality express the same calibration when the local commensurability is held. The source inputs also satisfy
Together with O=5E, this gives
The paired opening 5291t/5290n BC reflects to AD 5290t/5291n. Both same-season component counts give 10580=20×529 with the ordinary civil subtraction of one. The native-ON opening similarly gives 11500, exactly 25/23 times 10580. The Mirror axis remains January AD1; there is no civil year zero.
For the precise dependency, set
The exact identity is
With χ held at zero, the exact opening dilation and ω=0 are equivalent. They should not be counted as two independent witnesses. If the local commensurability is released, one equality no longer guarantees the other.
A bounded check of the eight source boundaries identifies the opening uniquely. This diagnostic compares each member with the opening calibration; it does not replace the fixed O in C16 or restrict the separate reflected member D used there.
| Offset from named Moses member | LXX ON, BC Nisan | LXX OFF, BC Nisan | OFF−5E | ON−(25/23)OFF |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| +5 | 5750 | 5290 | 0 | 0 |
| +4 | 5749 | 5289 | −1 | 2/23 |
| +3 | 5748 | 5288 | −2 | 4/23 |
| +2 | 5747 | 5287 | −3 | 6/23 |
| +1 | 5746 | 5286 | −4 | 8/23 |
| 0 | 5745 | 5285 | −5 | 10/23 |
| −1 | 5744 | 5284 | −6 | 12/23 |
| −2 | 5743 | 5283 | −7 | 14/23 |
No wider selector search is needed. The five source-qualified C16 3+7 rows and their previously established stronger admissions remain unchanged.
A coherent Cainan variation cancels out of the OFF opening. In the upstream source formula,
Recomputing both sides therefore leaves OFF unchanged when only κ changes. Holding the derived ON date fixed while subtracting a different κ would implicitly change the non-Cainan subtotal or another input.
For formal releases of the input quantities,
This resolves C16’s formal opening release ζ into source components. A Cainan-only release has ζ=0. The evidence includes six bounded diagnostics; changed source numbers are not adopted as chronology variants. For example, formal κ+1 recomputes ON as 5751 while OFF remains 5290, giving ω=−5. A coordinated T+5 and κ+1 preserves ω=0 but gives r₂₅=13/23 because χ is no longer zero. These controls test the dependency rather than propose alternative chronologies.
The full C12 packet can recover the opening after its source membership is stated. In its retained N02 row, the signed cumulative member is c=−5287, three boundary steps below the opening. Adding O to the variable list therefore requires the source relation
Use C12 R01–R15 and its apparent-Creation anchor only. Its allocation rows R16/R17 are unnecessary for this calculation. As zero residuals, the existing equations give
Here the u in the C12 formula is its existing signed cumulative endpoint, not the opening offset w. The exact certificate is
With nineteen variables, the common fifteen rows plus anchor have rank 16. Binding O to the actual member raises the rank to 17; adding the five-E equality raises it no further. Before the binding, changing only O from 5290 to 5291 preserves every original C12 equation and the anchor while breaking the opening equality. That is an algebraic independence control, not a source-admitted opening.
This explains both sides of the result: the opening is not fixed by the unbound local core, but its calibration is redundant once the fuller source packet supplies the opening-to-member relation. The alternate reconstruction imports the existing 868 cumulative/Creation attachment, the Creation anchor, and the selected member offset. It does not derive the cumulative lifespan sum from regular Gear arithmetic.
Validation and checkpoint. The evidence checker passes 86 exact checks. It reconstructs the native and derived suffixes from frozen source rows, checks the independent compressed-table landmarks, preserves the two Flood-associated seam types, verifies the eight-member boundary diagnostic, proves the residual and source-binding identities, and reads the C12/C16 certificates without executing their campaigns. An isolated replay reproduced all three output JSON files byte for byte. File_18, File_09, and all frozen dependencies remain unchanged.
The incremental packet contains this report, the standard-library checker, three generated evidence files, the seven frozen inputs and their provenance, replay results, and the artifact manifest. No canonical file was edited. This continuation is C17; it does not establish completion of the interrupted historical Reports 11–25.
Source locators. File_18 §§1.5–1.6 supply the cumulative envelope and Cainan method controls; §§4.2–4.4 and §§6–6D supply the lifespan inputs, common suffix, anchor, marker conventions, and source fields. File_09 §3.1 controls paired Mirror inversion and §3A.1 the whole-year envelope anatomy. The original Mirror handoff §§2–3 distinguishes paired boundaries, named members, phase trunks, and source field roles. C12 supplies the frozen endpoint basis; C16 supplies the opening correspondence and completed finite source domain. No external textual or historical authentication was undertaken in this arithmetic audit.
Best next bounded step — High sufficient. Trace the 868 cumulative-to-Creation attachment from the fixed source fields and their member offsets, then isolate its role in 8993=17×529 alongside the retained 6877=13×529 construction. This would complete the source-dependence audit of C16’s two numerical calibrations, O and B, without repeating its completed endpoint search.
